Installing jq on Windows

• Download jq:https://jqlang.github.io/jq/download/

• Go to the jq releases page on GitHub.
• Download the jq-win64.exe (for 64-bit Windows) or jq-win32.exe (for 32-bit Windows).
• Rename the downloaded file to jq.exe.

• Add to System Path (optional but recommended):

• Move jq.exe to a folder like C:\Program Files\jq or another directory of your choice.
• Right-click on This PC or Computer on the desktop or in File Explorer, then select Properties.
• Click on Advanced system settings on the left, and then click the Environment Variables button.
• In the System variables section, find and select the Path variable, then click Edit.
• Click New and add the path to the folder where you placed jq.exe.
• Click OK to close all dialog boxes.

Use jq:

• Open a new Command Prompt or PowerShell window.
• Run the command:jq . C:\Users\ianliu\Downloads\ng_split_file_1.geojson
